Caros Pais/Encarregados de Educação

 

Vimos por este meio informar que irá decorrer uma uma sessão de informação no próximo sábado dia 8 de fevereiro de 2014 pelas 9h15 na biblioteca da nossa escola. Esta sessão terá como objectivo informar sobre o programa de Português implementado pelo Instituto Camões / Ministério da Educação para o ensino da língua portuguesa no estrangeiro seguido aqui na nossa escola. Será também dado conhecimento do aproveitamento dos vossos filhos/alunos através de um encontro com os respetivos professores. Haverá café para todos.

Desde já agradecemos e contamos com a vossa presença nesta sessão de informação para  um bom desempenho dos vossos filhos/alunos na  nossa escola.

Atenção: No sábado dia 15 de fevereiro de 2014, dia da família, não haverá escola.

Dear Parents / Guardians

 

We wish to inform you that we will have an information session next Saturday,

February 8, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. in the school library. The purpose of this session is to inform you of the program implemented by the Portuguese Camões Institute / Ministry of Education for the teaching of Portuguese abroad followed here at our school. We will also be discussing your children / students progress through a meeting with their respective teachers. There will be coffee for everyone.

We appreciate and count on your presence at this information session to work together towards your children / students success at our school.  

Attention: There will be no school on Saturday, February 15, 2014 for family day.

FELIZ ANO DE 2014 E RECOMEÇO DAS AULAS - HAPPY 2014 AND CLASSES RESTART

A Direção da Escola Luís de Camões deseja a todos os votos de um Feliz 2014 e informa que as aulas recomeçam quarta-feira dia 8 para o curso de crédito e sábado dia 11 para o curso de crédito e todas as restantes classes.


The Direction of the Luís de Camões School wishes you a Very Happy 2014 and informs that classes restart on Wednesday, January 8th for the Credit Course and Saturday, January 11th for the Credit Course and all other classes.

Portuguese Language Classes

for Children

We offer language classes for children from 4 years to 14, at no cost. The classes are held at Monfort School on Saturday's from 9am to 12pm.

These classes are free and students only will pay the books.

 

for Adults and Credit Courses

Our courses have 4 levels, from beginners to advance. There are 2 courses being offered for the school year of 2013-2014:

- Wednesday evening, from 6 to 9 pm, at Samuel Genest, 704 Carsons Road, room 258, and

- Saturday morning from 9am to 12pm, at Monfort school, 350 Den Haag

The classes will start September 7th and11th, respectively, for the Saturday and Wednesday courses.

The cost of the courses is $30 for residents in Ontario.

Comunicado

Devido a não ter havido um número suficiente de pessoas para encher um autocarro tivemos de cancelar o passeio de 16 de junho,  ao Calypso Water Park . 

No próximo sábado dia 15 de junho alguns dos nossos alunos irão fazer  na escola as provas de certificação de língua portuguesa vindas de Portugal, para os que estão inscritos pedimos que estejam presentes na escola às 8h e 15m. Os outros alunos devem chegar à escola no horário habitual.

Também no sábado dia 15 de junho, último dia de aulas deste ano letivo, teremos algumas atividades e comida na escola para os nossos alunos.   

Desejamos a todos umas boas férias.

As Incrições para o próximo ano letivo estão abertas, podem efetuar o registo online através do preenchimento do formulário e enviando-o para eluiscamoes@gmail.com  ou  na escola Montfort  todos os sábados  a partir do dia 7 de setembro de 2013.

Communication

Do to not have had enough people to fill a bus we had to cancel the trip scheduled for June 16 at the Calypso Water Park.

On Saturday June 15, some of our students will do a certification in the portuguese language that comes from Portugal, for those who are enrolled we ask that you be present at the school at 8:15am. The other students should arrive at school at the usual time.

Also on Saturday June 15, last day of classes for this school year, we will have some activities and food at school for our students.

We wish everyone a good holiday.

Registrations for the upcoming school year are open, you can fill up the form and email it to eluiscamoes@gmail.com or on Saturdays at the Montfort School beginning September 7, 2013.

SUMMER CONVERSATIONAL COURSE

We would like to inform that registrations for adult summer conversational course are open. For more information or pre-registration please contact us by email to eluiscamoes@gmail.com or rodrigues.elisabete@gmail.com.

The classes will be on Wednesdays from 6 to 8pm, at Education Permanent, on 181 Donald Street, room 30.

Queridos Pais / Pais / Encarregados de educação

 

No dia 4 de maio de 2013 não teremos aulas porque não podemos usar a escola Monfort.

Para não perdermos um dia de aulas, decidimos dar mais meia hora de aulas todos os sábados até ao final do ano letivo. A partir de hoje as aulas terminarão às 12h30m.  Espero que esta decisão não vos cause inconveniência.

 

Queremos também comunicar-vos que estamos a organizar o passeio do fim do ano letivo que será este ano no domingo, dia 16 de junho de 2013.

Neste sentido necessitamos de saber com antecedência se teremos um mínimo de participantes para que possamos fazer o passeio.

Para agradar o mais possível aos nossos alunos e familiares, propomos dois locais onde poderemos ir:

1.      Parc Calypso em Limoges, Ontario, 30 minutos de Ottawa

Custo aproximado, incluindo transporte e comida, $ 30.00 por criança.

2.      Upper Canada Village Morrisburg, Ontario, 2h 30m de Ottawa

Custo aproximado, incluindo transporte e comida, $30.00 por criança.

Agradecemos que nos respondam e indiquem se querem participar no passeio e qual o Parque que preferem.  O parque que irá ser escolhido é o que obter mais votos.

Por favor queira trazer a resposta para a escola o mais tardar no dia 11 de maio 2013.

Dear Parent / Guardian

 

Please note there will be no classes on May 4, 2013. The Montfort school will not be available to us due to other activities. In order to make up for the missed day of school, we have decided to extend the classes by half an hour every Saturday until the end of the school year.  Starting today, the classes will be ending at 12:30 p.m.  We hope that this decision does not cause any inconvenience.

 

We would also like to inform you that we are organizing an end of year school trip that will take place on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

 

In order to better organize ourselves, we would like to know in advance if we have a sufficient number of participants willing to go on this trip.

 

To ensure everyone has fun and enjoys the trip, we are asking for your help in selecting one of the destinations below:

1.      Calypso water park in Limoges, Ontario, 30 minutes from Ottawa

(Approximate cost including transportation and food is $30.00 per child.)

 

2.      Upper Canada Village Morrisburg, Ontario, 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Ottawa

(Approximate cost including transportation and food is $30.00 per child.)

 

We would appreciate a quick response to whether you intend to join us on this trip, as well as an indication to where you would like to go. The destination that will get most votes will be chosen.
